Pink Iced Cinnamon Cupcake Recipe

Pink Iced Cinnamon Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients
Ingredients
- ½ Cup self-raising flour sifted
- ½ Cup caster sugar
- ½ Cup butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Decorating
- 2 Cups icing sugar
- Boiling Water to mix food colouring
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (170° fan).
- Line a 12 hole cupcake tin with patty pans.
- Combine the flour, sugar, butter and eggs in a bowl and whisk together for 2 minutes.
- Divide the mixture evenly across the 12 patty pans, place in oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Test with a toothpick, if it comes out clean the cupcakes are done.
- Leave out to cool
- Place icing sugar into a bowl, then slowly stir in the boiling water a few drops at a time until you have a spoonable icing mix.
- Stir in the pink food colouring a drop at a time until you reach your desired colour.
- Spoon the icing onto the cupcakes and sprinkle over the ground cinnamon.
- Enjoy!
